I wanted a waterproof boot as I work in an aquarium. These boots did keep the water out, but they were very uncomfortable. The first week or so, I noticed bruises on the tops of my toes and my ankles were sore. Boots can take a bit to break in, but after wearing these for two months the balls of my feet were still aching as I walked at work.
