The look of these boots are like none other. Theyre not manly or bulky and I love the thick stitching on them. Theyre super comfortable and didn't take long at all to break in like doc martens which is what I didnt like about docs. They felt like they were already broken in. I work at GM and I didnt need to get different I soles for them, what they came with was perfect. Im on my feet qt least 8 hours a day 7 days a week and my feet thank my for these boots. I wear a size 10 and im tall and skinny. I have skinny ankles and don't wear thick socks with these because my toes will start to hurt, but because I have skinny ankles I dont use the top two rows of teeth on the boots. I wrap the shoestrings around once and then tie my knot. Theyre alot more comfortable that way for me as well. As far as the non slip when it comes to oil, I work in hydraulic oil floors and they are definitely slippery walking on that. I wish they were more grippy to the floor like sketchers. They are NOT waterproof by any means if youre wondering about that. I walked through grass in the morning for a minute and my feet were soaked. They fit perfectly and I highly recommend these.
