I am on my 3rd pair of these boots, and after being unavailable for over a year and wearing my last pair completely through the sole while having ordered and tried 9 other pairs of boots looking for a replacement, they finally came back in stock. I ordered an extra pair to sit on the shelf to make sure I had the next pair when the time came. I have feet that are 9.5 long and almost as wide as they are long. These are literally the only boot I have ever worn (and I’ve owned every type of Red Wing, Timberland, etc) that has a toe box my fat feet and toes fit in without being smashed to one side or the other. I about to buy another pair out of fear of them becoming unavailable again.Their very comfortable but we have soluble oil and water on the floor this is the slickest boot I have had in 24 years of working here if you boat have a lot of slick floors buy them very comfortableVery comfortableEverything fit perfectlyComfort is good so far. Will update this review later to see how well the slip and water resistance is.Took one star off because the branding for adiprene is different from what the pictures show. The adiprene logo at the bottom of the boot says "truTECH". The insole also says truTECH. Also the outter sole is all black minus the truTECH logo. The item pics should be accurate to the tee because I'd suspect these are knock offsAs others have noted, the size of this boot is large in comparison to timberlands and bates boots mainly because of the size of the composite toe cap. I had to get used to driving with standard pedals since they are close together.Update 10/10/2017: The slip resistance is slightly less than bates gx-4s, but better than most timberlands and perform well on wet tiling.Update 11/13/2020: Ordered second pair and seems to be the same quality as the first. The bottom outsole on my first pair began to come apart after 2 years and the leather started to peel/crack in various locations. Not bad really. I must say the comfort of these boots are better than some work sneakers I've tried. These boots are quite heavy, but they offer good protection and water resistance. I highly recommend going with a 1/2 size bigger with these and pretty much any shoe with a composite or steel toe. A wider size helps with comfort too.But they hurt a little on the inside of my ankle bones. Other than that, the toe area is wide/big enough for me and they don't hurt in those areas like I have problems with so many other work boots.I'm trying to figure out how to make them not hurt in the ankle area, and it would be better if they had quick lace hooks on the top two eyes of the boots rather than the conventional lace up eyelets all the way up. Other than that, I'm satisfied.I have only used it for a few days, but there was no break-in period needed. Fit great and were comfortable from day one. I did feel there is a lack of arch support in the footbed. It is a very flat insole, but it is very springy and comfortable, probably the best insole I have felt from a work boot company. Replace the insole if the flat foot bothers you. They look very nice.Use it for work.
