These boots ended up being a replacement pair of boots that had wore out the previous year. So far they have held up great. They do get worn almost daily so they show signs of wear but they buff out nice and shiny when they need a little TLC. The bottom sole and threads have held up great so far. Time will tell how long they last with daily use. I couldn't see spending hundreds on a pair of boots that could potentially be ruined in a year.
